Vredenburg Performing Arts Series

*We are no longer selling season tickets!*
Season tickets to the 2022-2023 Vredenburg Performing Arts Series can be purchased at Chariton Area Chamber/Main Street or Piper's for just $50. Individual performances are $15 for adults and $5 for students at the door on the day of the performance. Only season tickets will be presold! All performances will take place at Johnson Auditorium, 915 Osage Avenue, and will begin at 7:00 p.m. The Box Office opens at 6:30 p.m. for those needing tickets to individual performances.

Tonic Sol-fa was voted by Campus Activities Magazine as "One of the top five 'MUST SEE' groups in America."
RIDERS IN THE SKY

Riders in the Sky is an American Western music and comedy group which began performing in 1977. The band has released more than 40 full-length albums. They have won two Grammy Awards and have written and performed music for major motion pictures, including "Woody's Roundup" from Toy Story 2. Be prepared for award-winning harmonies, wacky Western wit, and high-yodeling adventures.
JUDY CARMICHAEL TRIO

Grammy-nominated pianist/vocalist Judy Carmichael is one of the world's leading interpreters of stride piano and swing. Count Basie nicknamed her "Stride," acknowledging the command with which she plays this technically and physically demanding jazz piano style. Judy will have audiences dancing in the aisles with high-energy interpretations of the Great American Songbook.
RHONDA VINCENT AND THE RAGE

Rhonda Vincent is a firecracker of talent that powers one of the hottest bands in any genre of music today. Rhonda Vincent and The Rage are the most decorated band in bluegrass, with over 100 awards to their credit. Among their honors are a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album; Song of the Year, Entertainer of the Year, and an unrivaled seven consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year awards from the International Bluegrass Music Association.
HERE COMES THE SUN

A musical celebration of one of the most successful artists of the 1970s! This five-person band of multi-instrumentalists/vocalists from Broadway, Lincoln Center, and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra has been wowing audiences around the world with its fresh and musically-authentic tribute to The Beatles. Now, they are returning to celebrate (not impersonate) The Eagles and their legendary catalogue! Relive all of the biggest hits like "Take It Easy", "Desperado", and "Hotel California", as this extraordinary group of musicians truly "Take it to the Limit".
Community Band
Concerts were held at 7:00pm every Thursday evening in June at the Larry J. Clark Memorial Gazebo on the square. The band had a special performance as part of the Chariton 4th of July Celebration. The final concert of the season will be held on Thursday, July 8 at the Lucas County Historical Museum starting at 7:00pm.

Vision II Theatre is Chariton's premiere movie destination and shows first run movies. Visitors will enjoy the comfortable leather seats, low ticket prices, and large snack variety.
